It was the day before the man and the woman ate the fruit from the tree of knowledge of good and evil, when Adam saw the light above set beneath the earth for the first time.
He was enjoying the food from every tree of the garden, as he was surely to do so. As he ate from one of the trees, many of the beasts of the earth came to him to eat, too.
And so he fed the bears, the lions, the tigers, and the serpent, with the food from the trees.
When the next morning would come by, Yahweh God would come say that it was good. After feeding the beasts and the cattle, the man reached the midst of the garden, where the tree of life and the tree of knowledge of good and evil stood.
Among all the trees that were in the garden, he had not eaten from those two, nor could he describe the taste that they held in their fruit.
However, he would not eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil, for he would surely die. The only tree left was the tree of life.
Now the serpent was next to the tree, where the fruits hovered right above its head, but out of reach. And he said to the man, “May I receive more fruit from the tree?”
“For I still hunger and I need sustenance to live on.”
And the man grabbed one of the fruits from the tree and fed it to the serpent. It became healthy and relieved with energy.
The serpent spoke again thereafter, “I heard that you and the woman had become one flesh.”
“It is surely an order of celebration to eat from the trees alongside her, for it will deepen the bond between you and the woman.”
Then the man saw that the tree was good for the man and the woman as one, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the trees were desirable to make one’s bond deeper, so he returned to the woman.
And when the man and woman were ready to give seed to their offspring, they came back to the midst of the garden.
